Various renovation and remodel projects were carried out at St. Michaels over the years. A new entry porch and vestibule were added in 1999, incorporating a revised stair layout and an ADA lift. Design work also included the installation method and operating mechanism for an antique 400 pound bronze bell, cast in 1902 by the Meneely Foundry in West Troy, New York. The bell is located in the vestibule attic.
